With a combined almost 60 years of experience in Senior Healthcare we are available to assist where needed. Whether it's program development, training, or Interim Management we are open to assist. Our belief is that if all things operate in a Rhythm of teamwork, common people will obtain uncommon results!
With over 37 years of management Dave emphasizes Building Teams and creating high standards that have set the bar for other organizations to strive for. Dave has been in management of Assisted Living for 25 years as an Executive Director of both large and small, For Profit and Not-for-Profit organizations. He has been recognized as the Executive Director of the year for Nor-Alfa a provider organization. In addition he has received the Advocacy and Mentor, award for LeadingAge Washington. He has served in leadership roles of Nor-Alfa as a board member, Washington Adult Day Services Association as President and LeadingAge Washington where he presently serves on the board. He has been a coach for the LeadingAge Washington Leadership Institute for 6 years. In addition he has served on many committees for DSHS including the Washington State Boarding Home Advisory Board and most recently served on a committee to review and monitor the recent bill 1163 that focuses on Care Giver Training requirements and the construction requirements with the Department of Health. In addition he was a contributor in the re-write of the specialty Dementia and Mental Health training curriculum for DSHS. He has also testified on many occasions before the Washington State legislature for Seniors related rights and Issues. He is currently an instructor for DSHS education of Dementia, Mental Health, Fundamentals of Caregiving, and over 150 continuing education classes. In addition he is an instructor for the Assisted Living Academy for LeadingAge Washington designed to develop future Administrators. Together, Dave and Carol have been married for 46 years. They have two sons, Tom who lives in Tacoma, and Andrew who lives in Tacoma and is a College Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. In his spare time Dave enjoys traveling, and photography.
Carol Foltz has been an Executive Director of Assisted/Independent/Memory Support communities for 27 years. Carol started her leadership in the Skilled Nursing environment, then found a place in Assisted Living. Carol has specialized in working with DSHS to re-license or do course correction for memory care operations to prevent license revocation. Carol loves to help people learn, especially about dementia. For Carol it’s personal. Her dad’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s’ in 2002, changed her focus in senior living. It was so difficult for her older sisters to accept and deal with Dad’s changes. Carol began designing programing, and teaching people strategies for coming along side loved ones ever since. Working with seniors at all levels, from independent, assisted and memory support has given her leadership style one of making every encounter count. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Management. She served for 3 years on the LeadingAge Washington Board and is presently the Chairperson for the Assisted Living Cabinet for LeadingAge Washington. She has also testified on many occasions before the Washington State legislature for Seniors related rights and Issues. She is currently an instructor for DSHS education of Dementia, Mental Health, Fundamentals of Caregiving, and over 150 continuing education classes. In addition she is an instructor for the Assisted Living Academy for LeadingAge Washington designed to develop future Administrators, LeadingAge Board member, working with RCS and Ombudsman to improve department relations while improving resident experience has been a passion. Currently Carol is working on new memory support programing for assisted living communities called, The Rhythm of Your Day. In her spare time Carol enjoys Travel, Crafts, and Crocheting.
